The concept was simple but electric: sign your lease, settle in, and join the ultimate hunt, just like that, one person can live more and do more with 20 tawa! The Build-Up: From Buzz to Big Moves
The excitement captured exactly what Live Easy stands for, Save More. Do More. Live More. It showed that value and lifestyle don’t have to be opposites; they can live under one roof, surrounded by A swimming pool, Wi-Fi, workspaces, and a few hidden clues worth R20K.
The Day of The Hunt at Live Easy Fourways: R20K Waiting…
Before the music started and the clues were revealed, the air was already buzzing with excitement. Contestants lined up while warming up and stretching, the morning sun catching on their bright bandannas as the camera moved from one hopeful face to the next. Each had their own reason for wanting to win, some practical, some deeply personal, and every answer painted a small piece of the Live Easy story.
“I want to win the 20K so I can buy myself and my son a new phone,” said Gugu, smiling nervously but full of hope.”
“If I win, the first thing I’m buying is a Henny!” laughed Tshepo from North West, earning a round of laughs from the cameraman.
Mpumi from Delmas beamed as she said she’d use the prize money to pay for her daughter’s school fees.
Another contestant shared simply: “If I win, I’ll give 30% to charity.”
The Hunt Begins….
“Three… two… one… go!”
With that, the calm broke into chaos. Contestants sprinted toward the gym, their first destination, guided by the opening clue: Where tenants come to sweat, stretch, and stay strong. Laughter mixed with determination as they dropped into sets of ten burpees, pushing through the burn to stay in the running.
The next stop: the laundry room. Boxes filled with colourful play-pen balls waited for them, each contestant trying to guess the right sequence to unlock their next clue. Some cheered when they got it right, others sighed and laughed it off, knowing only one person would cross the finish line first.
From there, it was off to the cinema, the quietest stop of them all. A short clip rolled on screen, and those who answered the follow-up questions correctly advanced to the pool stage. Tension built with every riddle, every clue, every heartbeat….
By the time they reached the pool, excitement had replaced nerves. The final clue and we’re off to the Live Easy showrooms,the frustrations grew louder and the last few contentants got closer and closer, and closer…… Who would walk away the the R20 000???
And the Winner is…….. Anele Ntusi!!!!!
For the final round, the three remaining contestants each located an envelope, but only one had the magic number of 20,000 rand prize? Everyone was tired but had enough energy to wait for the grand announcement…
And the winner is…… Anele Ntusi!!!!
Anele, Live Easy’s newest tenant at Fourways, and a girl who just got 20 000 reasons to Do more and Live More!! She was beaming, out of breath, and completely overcome with disbelief as she clutched the giant R20 000 cheque.
